Overview

ArcStax, Inc. ("we", "us", "our") operates ArcStax at arcstax.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

By using ArcStax you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data we collect

Account data

When you sign up we collect your email address. If you set a display name or username those are stored in your profile. Google OAuth sign-in additionally provides your name and profile picture from Google.

Usage data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance monitoring. We may add product analytics (PostHog) post-launch — this policy will be updated when that happens.

Content you create

Stacks you build, projects you save, and notes you add are stored in our database and associated with your account.

How we use your data

  • Providing and improving the ArcStax service
  • Authenticating your account and protecting against fraud
  • Sending transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
  • Generating aggregate, anonymised usage statistics
  • Complying with legal obligations

We do not use your data to train AI models and we do not share it with advertisers.

Third-party services

ArcStax uses the following sub-processors that may handle your data:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (hosted on AWS)
  • Google OAuth — optional sign-in provider
  • Anthropic — AI analysis features (prompts sent server-side; no personal data included)
  • Vercel — hosting and edge network

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, stacks, and projects are permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

To request deletion, email hello@arcstax.com with the subject line "Delete my account".

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights contact us at hello@arcstax.com.

EU/EEA users: ArcStax processes data on the basis of contract performance (account features) and legitimate interest (security logs). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date. For material changes we will notify you via email.
